AsA Brothers,
It’s very difficult to pick up the radio channel unless you’re around West End / Fenham.
I understand you have upgraded the antenna but this has not helped.
Finally, it’s great to have a local Islamic station – keep up the good work!

Great Show.
As far as the ‘International Burn the Quran’ day being organised in Florida by one small church and pastor, whose plugging a book at the same time.
I wanted to urge the Muslims that there is SUCH a need for keeping a sense of proportion in your reasoning, reactions, judgments, decisions.
Don’t polarise, dont exaggerate… dont allow hate to bubble up and express itself through mindless, hollow, moment driven stupidity.
What is being organised is disgusting of course, but to focus all your energy on that, and then react stupidly, is very counter productive. Theres a bigger picture to focus on, and thats where we should direct our sentiments and energy. And if we dont, and we get lost in these type of events, we help people to keep us distracted from the main problem.

I agree with the brother, in the clip that you played. The attacks on Islam and our Prophet, the Hijab bans in Europe, the oppression of the global muslim ummah, have driven muslims to think, and led to elevation in our understanding of where muslims sit in the global agenda.
What they also do is stir up anger and sentiment, which needs to be converted into a productive, well expressed and unified response from Muslims. i.e NON-VIOLENT demonstrations, dialogue and debate with everyone, mature, well rounded conversation and interaction with non-muslims.
History is one big cycle of stories, with different players, we need to spot the story and connect the dots. Dont hate the Presidents and Prime Ministers of the ”free world” , they are just marionettes, its the puppet’s masters are who we need to focus on, and exposed.

I listened to fast fm today at work (sunday) from about noon until about 3 o’clock, i am not sure whether or not it was the Muhammad Timothy Humble show or not. I am not a muslim but an agnostic and usually I enjoy listening to reasoned, sensible arguments from those who are either of faith, or not. However, although I recognise that this radio station is specifically for those of Islam, I was quite disheartened by the level of mindless preaching that I heard. The topic for much of it was evolution, and the speaker used many ‘juicy quotes’ which offered one man’s opinions and no basis for a statement of fact, yet he used these to prove ‘the truth’ without considering other quotes. A specific point which irritated me was the fact that the presenter didnt welcome any call-ins or texts and just went on and on speaking half-truths about a topic over which he could have put forward a convincing argument had he not been so close-minded. Using the same analogy over and over again in different forms; ‘like a tornado going through a junkyard and making a boeing 747′ to explain the ‘order’ of the universe in different forms was not helpful at all. The universe is only ‘ordered’ relative to those who come out of the disorder- which is the human race. I actually got frustrated listening to this attempt at a solid argument. Next time please allow calls and texts and don’t rely on old quotes from single figures of little importance- and the same analogies turned over and over. I wanted to learn some interesting viewpoints about salvation and evolution today, and how they tie into Ramadhan. I was sorely disappointed by what can only be described as casual propaganda
