BELIEVER OR SHEEP?
BELIEVER OR SHEEP?
‘Do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; in fact, they are even farther astray from the Path. (Al-Furqan 25:44)
When the angels come to a disbeliever in his grave, he becomes nervous and they make him sit up. The angels ask him “What do you say about this person (sent among you)?” The disbeliever replies “Who is that person?” because he does not know about Muhammad PBUH. The angels say “He is Muhammad PBUH”. Then he answers “I don’t know, I just said what people said.”
The Angels say to him, “You remained in doubt in the world and died on it and you will be raised on the same doubt. Then he is shown his place in Jannah that has been replaced by Hellfire and his punishment starts by constricting of the grave. (Tabarani, Ibn Hibban, Hakim)
Allah did not create us to follow blindly- humans have been given the intelligence to recognise the evidences (ayat) and obey Allah and His Messenger.
