The Walk will take place at the favourite location of Castle Eden Walkway in Stockton on Sunday 14th June at 11:30am. This beautiful walk through the countryside will take approx 2.5 hours to complete at a nice medium pace that is suitable for all. Please bring a packed lunch so we can enjoy a picnic afterwards. Sisters only, walking, chatting, and raising money. Sisters only, walking, chatting, and raising money for the best cause (Islam). What better way to spend a few hours on a Sunday afternoon, with the added bonus that the walk will also do your own health and fitness some good too Inshallah. Please don’t pass this aside and think others will do it, we need YOU and all the people YOU can get involved. £500 is the minimum we would like to raise for each cause, Inshallah may we raise more. Minimum of £20 sponsorship money is needed to take part which is very easy to do by asking your family, friends, and colleagues etc to sponsor you even a little. If you would like to help please contact us for a sponsorship pack and full details.

**BROTHERS**
You have the option to walk or if your feeling fit and energetic you can opt to RUN IT!! Men are always happy to throw pound notes on the floor of the Mosque when ppl seek funds for different charities but this is easy to do and we would like to offer the chance to really earn that money by ACTIVLY doing something for a worth while cause, with the added bonus that it may improve your own health and you get to share a nice day with other brothers and let off a bit of steam from a hard week at work – what more could you ask for? So Inshallah get signed up, invite others to sign up. Also bring food with you so that afterwards you can share a well earned picnic in the park

WHO CAN TAKE PART??

**SISTERS: This event is for sisters only (please no children under 8 years of age) it is simply to greater distance for such little legs and young feet so unfortunately young children on foot will not be permitted for safety reasons. However if your child is very young and willing to sit in a push chair for the duration then although the terrain can be a little rough in places it is possible to take pushchairs (as some have in previous years) although this is not a solution but an alternative.

**BROTHERS again no children under 8 permitted and only Brothers wth good health and fitnees levels should endure to partake in the run otherwise please remain in your comfort zone and partake in the walk

If you have questions about this or anything else please do not hesitate to contact us.

Inshallah please invite as many people as possible to this event/page

Sudan Appeal Update

Assalaam o alaikum all,
THANK YOU/SHUKRAN
Aiman and I met today to plan how to use the money and which children/families would benefit. Aiman will be in Sudan for ten days from beginning of May. We have picked ten families from Sabeel Al-Rashad and ten from the Womans Cooperative. Each family will have £100. They will then be able to buy food stuff e.g. flour, sugar, lentils and/or school uniforms. One family with 5 children will be given £150. We hope to take the odd photogragh, however, it is risky to do this and doing so can result in a little run in jail.
My friend Akhtar Zahid who is General Manager of Blue Nile Dairy (Free advert) is linking us up with a food company SAYGA, who will supply us with the food at a discounted rate.
I would like to thank every one again for there support and wonderful contributions. If any one would like a free coffee and a signed photo of me for there effort then give me a call!!!! Okay I’m lying about the coffee!!!!
We plan to do it again later in the year. Get saving!
Kind regards
Michael
Total raised £2100
