About Us

Islam Newcastle provides the community with authentic, useful and important information about Islam and the Muslims. The purpose is to support and assist the individual with resources for learning and education over a number of topics relevant to our society. Run by local members of the Newcastle community, the Islam Newcastle project will detail useful local events, seminars, activities and upcoming projects.

Islam Newcastle encourages participation and will endeavor to abide by the principles of Islam in all its affairs by sticking to the principles of the authentic sources – the Noble Qu’ran and authenticated Sunnah.
References will be provided where relevant in all areas of Islam Newcastle. A full set of guidelines will provided in the near future, inshAllah.

Alhd your doin a great job for the community in Newcastle brother. May Allah guide the majority of muslims here. It really makes me happy to know that there are muslims trying their utmost best to spread the word of islam especially in my home town. May you be rewarded immensly, Ameen!

Can you explain your view on Muharram please. TVs show we should pay respect to the Prophet SAW household as they were trying to save islam.

What are views in regard to this? Do the Ahle Sunnath respect his family or not? Should we follow muharram or not? Should we not pay respect to the daughter of the Prophet SAW and his grandsons/granddaughters?

I am interested in learning more about how we the ahle sunnath view muharram and the household of he prophet.
